Rapid Health Surveys: Principles and Sampling Design Handbook

Page history last edited by Robert Davis 3 years, 1 month ago

For now, the sole use of this Wiki is to have a place for this document:

Rapid Health Surveys: Principles and Sampling Design Handbook (the full document in pdf format can be downloaded here)

IMPORTANT NOTE: I have updated and corrected some language about the use of LQAS in the online version of this handbook which you can access by clicking on the Table of Contents (below in red).  The pdf format of the manual has NOT been corrected and should be used with care.  The changes refer ONLY to the LQAS Module (Module 3).

This handbook was developed for the Public Health Institute but can be freely used and distributed.  The advantages to putting it in a Wiki format are that we can more easily correct and update it-getting input from practitioners, statisticians and other users--and we can place links to a large variety of useful resources that go with it.  Please start with the Table of Contents and go from there.  The acknowledgments include contact information of the authors who are willing to answer questions about it.  Please share this link widely and let us know if there are errors or things that are not clear.

You can watch a video that walks through some of the issues in this manual concerning Lot Quality Assurance Sampling (LQAS).  If you are having some trouble understanding LQAS this video/slideshow might help.
